OK well that helps a little I have been tossing around the idea of picking up one of their cab packs called "The Cab Theampfacrory. So what it sounds like to me is that Theampfzctory decided that the profile selling business has run its course.

I suspect many of those profile sellers and I'm not thinking of Andy in this case but thezmpfactory by two others base their pricing on what the amp itself would cost, rather than pricing it as software with zero marginal cost of production.
And I completely understand why TAF is pulling back. More freely available profiles are being made at better quality. It's not like money grows on trees.

Yes, Themapfactory created a number of profiles that I sold on my site, and we were all "asked" to remove any real amp names from all the profiles or face legal action. I have read on the KPA forum that some companies are getting cease and desist letters from amp companies who are protecting their trademarks.

What I'm hearing and feeling are similar gain structures across amps that shouldn't be similar at all, especially as you alter the parameters in the profile away from the captured settings. Please give yourself a refresher on the forum rules you agreed to follow when you signed up.
Ones that dont, ive added a reverb that suits it more. Whether they were paid profiles or not. I would have bought more from Andy and will from other vendors, but having spent already around dollar total on profiles, I get picky of course.
I'm very interested in what comes next, whether from TAF or even Kemper themselves.
I suspect that this is language that The Amp Factory is using to protect themselves from something like that happening and that they are using the actual theampfactort listed and then putting the other as a legal disclaimer. Strat, Tele and Lespaul, these are your starting templates.
